A modular CoreXY printer built from the Flsun i3 (2017) and Mingda Magician X components.
This document outlines the design, component sourcing, mechanical integration, electronics, and firmware of the Chimera iXY project.

Built around a 2020 & 2040 aluminum frame with 8mm linear rods. Fairly Simple; no extrusions were cut in the first revision.
Controller: MKS Gen L v2.1 (v1.0 will work as well)
Auxillary Control: Miniton Beaglecam v1
Drivers: TMC2209, TMC2208, A4988
Wiring: Fully sleeved harness with JST-XH connectors. High current wires are crimped with a plated connector.
Power: 24V 15A generic PSU (From MMX, unbranded)
Firmware used: Marlin 2.1.2.5 for now. May upgrade to Klipper later. Config files are versioned in the GitHub repo.
Enclosure + Ventilation, speedy power motors compatibility, and triple-z upgrades are on the roadmap.
